Sacramento's own Dance Gavin Dance have announced the release of their much-anticipated ninth full-length studio album, Afterburner, on Friday, April 24 via Rise Records. Produced by longtime collaborator Kris Crummett (Issues, Sleeping With Sirens, Mayday Parade) and Drew Fulk a.k.a. WZRD BLD (Lil Wayne, Motionless in White, Bad Wolves), the LP is a landmark mission statement for the band and encompasses DGD energy past, present, and future. a??a??a??a??a??a??a??Judson Theatre Company (Daniel Haley, Artistic Director and Morgan Sills, Executive Producer) has announced that Amanda Bearse will play Olive Madison and Teresa Ganzel will play Florence Unger in their March production of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple (Female Version). Performances begin Thursday, March 26 and run through Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Owens Auditorium at the newly renovated Bradshaw Performing Arts Center (3395 Airport Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374).

Mills is starring as Marcellus Washburn in 5-Star Theatricals' production of 'The Music Man,' which plays through Oct. 27 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. We talked with Mills about the art of physical comedy and his fresh, new approach to his character.

Ida Mae have released a new video for their beautifully effortless track, 'Love Is Still A Long Road.' Directed by Tom Cowles, the video features footage of husband-and-wife duo Chris Turpin and Stephanie Jean as they travel across the US on tour. Peter Levine's new play, APPLE, TABLE, PENNY, opened at Emerging Artist Theatre's Fall New Work Series on October 3. The production runs until October 13 at TADA Theater in mid-town and is directed by Jennifer Tuttle. Emerging Artists Theatre previously produced Levine's one-act The Gipper and his full-length play, The Kitchen Table.
