To celebrate 50 years of Babs on the big screen, we are rewatching, reviewing, and reflecting on the compete Streisand filmography. Producer Mary J. Davis and MBL Productions have announced the Cast and women-led Creative Team of UNRAVELED by Jennifer Blackmer. The production will be directed by Kathryn MacMillan, with Scenic Design by Melpomene Katakalos, Costume Design by Elivia Bovenzi, Lighting Design by Kate McGee, and Sound Design by Amy Altadonna. The UNRAVELED cast includes LaDonna Burns, Maxwell Eddy, Lori Hammel, Suzanna Hay, and Kittson O'Neill. Stephanie Clark is the Production Stage Manager, and Jaclyn Lusardi is the Assistant Stage Manager. Casting is by Kate Lumpkin Casting.

The Los Angeles Premiere engagement of Waitress will play Hollywood Pantages Theatre for a four-week engagement; August 2 - 26, 2018. The show held its opening night on August 3. Check out photos from the red carpet at the big night below!

The Royal Players of Benton, AR announce the upcoming 2018-2019 season.  Filled with musicals, plays, family entertainment, and thought-provoking content, there is something for everyone in the upcoming season. 

MainStage Irving-Las Colinas unveiled three plays, two musicals and a special collaboration that will be produced as part of the 2018-19 season to a packed house of volunteers, subscribers, and supporters on Sunday night, April 15 at the Irving Arts Center.

Uptown Players, a professional theater group located in the Uptown area of Dallas, has announced its 2018-2019 season at the Kalita Humphreys Theater and Moody Performance Hall. The season will feature the regional premieres of the 2017 Drama Desk nominated musical, The View Upstairs, a new comedy from the writer of NBC's Emmy-nominated hit "This is Us", The Cake, plus the world premiere of a special holiday tribute, A Very Judy Christmas. Also in the season lineup are the hilarious 2016 Broadway musical, Disaster!, and the Tony Award-winning Musical Spring Awakening, which will be presented at Moody Performance Hall. Rounding out its 2018-2019 season is its annual fundraising production, Broadway Our Way, also at Moody Performance Hall and the previously announced production of Angels In America Part Two: Perestroika.

CRT welcomes the co-writing team of the show, as Jack Plotnick will direct and three-time Emmy Award nominee and SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky will reprise the role he originated on Broadway (Ted Schneider). A Musical" at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times are Todays, June 8 and 15 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, June 9 and June 16 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, June 10 and 17 at 2 p.m.

ASL interpreted performances will take place during the Saturday matinee performances on June 16 for "Disaster!", June 30 for "Sweeney Todd: A Musical Thriller in Concert", and July 21 "Jesus Christ Superstar".

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) Artistic Director Terrence Mann and Executive Producer Matthew J. Pugliese are pleased to announce the lineup for the 2018 Nutmeg Summer Series.  The second season under the artistic leadership of three-time Tony Award nominee Mann will include "Disaster!", "Sweeney Todd: A Musical Thriller In Concert" and "Jesus Christ Superstar".
