The popular Broadway talk show Live with Rye & Friends on Broadway will celebrate its one-year anniversary with two celebratory shows on Monday, September 26 and October 17 at 9:30 pm at the Triad Theater.

Theatre West, Hollywood's professional theatre company celebrating its 60th Anniversary year, announces its 2022-2023 season. The new season includes a wide variety of theatrical entertainments, with selections for every age group.

Returning to Birdland after the sold-out debut of this show in April, Akers once again takes a look back at some of the songs that first brought her attention in cabaret as well as on Broadway, television, and recordings: works by Craig Carnelia, Maury Yeston, Edith Piaf, and Stephen Sondheim, among other treasures.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Three of the season's productions will be mounted at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, and three will be staged at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre. Too Old. Too Asian. Too Short. is subtitled 'The Story of an Unlikely Showgirl,' but that actually comes up later in Pamela K. Najera's absorbing story.

A second look into their sophomore album, WYLDERNESS have unveiled a new single: “Wet Look”. Alongside earlier single “Centre of Gravity” — a track with stabbing punk sensibilities and a frantic undercurrent of fuzzy reverb — “Wet Look” comes as another glimpse into Wylderness’ second album ‘Big Plans for a Blue World’ produced by Rory Atwell.

Rye Entertainment and JES Theatrical will present The Parts I Keep Inside: A New Musical on Saturday July 9th and Monday July 11th, 2022 at 7:00pm at THE TRIAD THEATER.

'The Life and Times of A. Einstein' is a funny, offbeat comedy about a day in the life of the famous scientist, as seen through the eyes of his secretary, Ellen. As his secretary, chauffeur and bodyguard (she shoots, too!), Ellen shields him from the press, keeps him on time for appointments, runs his household, and tries unsuccessfully to hide her passion and feelings for him.

The show is written by Karen Bankhead with additional material by Pam Trotter and performed by Karen Bankhead. It features musical performance by singer Pam Trotter, and is directed by Karen Bankhead. It is produced by Free Spirit Productions. BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present acclaimed vocalist Karen Akers in the new show “Water Under the Bridge” on Monday, April 25 at 7:00 PM.

Eden Espinosa, Joshua Henry, and Megan Hilty will raise the roof with a program specifically curated by The Soraya which include songs from the late Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George and Company, plus numbers from Wicked, Hamilton, Carousel, and more.

Micky Dolenz of The Monkees embarks on a special series of concert dates this month, launching on April 5 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and ending at Madison's Overture Center on Saturday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m.
