Neglected Musicals will present It's a Bird It's a Plane It's Superman, on Hayes Theatre Co on Monday, 6 October. Directed by Stuart Maunder this 1966 Broadway Musical is the classic battle between good and evil by one of the comic world's most renowned superhero's, Superman.

Shirley Jones & Jack Cassidy stepped into RCA Victor's Studio A on September 17 & 18, 1959 to record their concept album MARRIAGE TYPE LOVE. For some reason the album was never released. Now, Masterworks Broadway has released the long anticipated album after almost 55 years. Fans of the celebrated duo and new listeners alike can enjoy the romantically schmaltzy and sweetly jazzy album for years to come.

Star of stage and screen Shirley Jones will guest star on ABC's daytime sudser GENERAL HOSPTIAL tonight, Feb. 5. The 'Partridge Family' matriarch will portray 'Mrs. McClain', described as 'a lonely widow who sees something strange and disconcerting while visiting her husband's grave.' 'Sondheim: A Musical Tribute' was the title given to a benefit staged in March 1973. American Musical and Dramatic Academy and the National Hemophilia Foundation first wanted to honor Harold Prince, but he declined, so they chose Stephen Sondheim. Sondheim thought it would be 'merely a dinner,' but it was actually a full-scale production with 33 performers and a 30-piece orchestra, staged on the set of the then-running 'A Little Night Music' at the Shubert Theatre.
