New musical URBAN MOMFARE is having a staged reading as part of Emerging Artists Theatre's Notes From A Page Festival. URBAN MOMFARE is an irreverent (and sometimes heartbreaking) romp through motherhood on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where the absurdities of a rarefied lifestyle throw the universality of parenting into stark focus.

New York Theatre Ballet's (NYTB) 2012-2013 season will debut an all-new ballet, BARK! IN THE PARK with choreography by Chase Brock of Broadway's hit SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, and story and music by Karen LeFrak. It's Christmas at Carnegie Hall, and this year there are three very special performances being conducted by Steven Reineke with the New York Pops. Two holiday concerts featuring Brian Stokes Mitchell and a special family feature of How The Grinch Stole Christmas all take place this weekend to help NYC usher in the holiday spirit! This December, Carnegie Hall continues its long-standing tradition of providing audiences with a place to gather and experience the transformative power of music during the holiday season, presenting six special concerts in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage and Zankel Hall.

On Friday, October 15 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, Steven Reineke leads The New York Pops in the first concert of their 2010-2011 Carnegie Hall season with a program saluting pop music super group ABBA, featuring the acclaimed Finnish vocal ensemble Rajaton. Together, they will present energetic performances of some of ABBA's most popular chart-topping hits including 'Dancing Queen,' 'Mamma Mia,' 'Take a Chance on Me,' and other favorites. The New York Pops returns to Carnegie Hall for six additional performances this season-including three holiday performances.

There was a festive party at the Imperial Theatre after the show on Friday, November 13th with director Stephen Daldry and the Tony Award winning cast of Billy Elliot as they celebrated their one year anniversary. There was of course party hats, confetti, and very happy kids to commemorate Billy's 1st Birthday!

The talented kids from Billy Elliot, including the 'ballet girls', Serendipity unveiled a brand new sweet concoction to honor the hit musical. The pink tutu wearing cast experienced The Billy Elliot Too Tutu Sundae for the first time on Thursday, April 30th.
