Just last night, the best of Broadway walked the red carpet in celebration of one of the most anticipated events of the theatrical season- MCC Theater's annual Miscast gala. Local Ridgefield, CT talent combines with professional Broadway talent to bring an excellent performance of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT to the Ridgefield Playhouse. This adaptation of the Biblical account of Joseph, son of Jacob, is put to music in a way that sends positive messages while keeping the audience entertained.

Broadway legend Elaine Stritch was born on February 2, 1925. In 2013, she celebrated her 88th birthday on Theater Talk with musical director Rob Bowman and actor Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, along with co-hosts Susan Haskins and Michael Riedel. Had Stritch not died in 2014, she would have been 93 today.

Director Daniel C. Levine is excited to bring the Andrew Lloyd Webster musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT to the Ridgefield Playhouse. Broadway professionals will combine with local Ridgefield talent to bring what promises to be an exciting show!

The York Theatre Company presents the 1968 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, Hallelujah, Baby!, with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, and book by Arthur Laurents, the first of three shows in the Winter 2018 Musicals in Mufti Series celebrating the work of composer Jule Styne.

Broadway comes to Ridgefield! The cast for the upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has been announced by director Daniel C. Levine and it's chock-full of Broadway stars - Matt Bogart (Jersey Boys) is Pharaoh, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music) is Joseph and Christine Dwyer (Wicked) is the Narrator. The show runs Saturday, February 24th at 2pm and 8pm and Sunday, February 25th at 2pm at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Part of Ridgefield Magazine's Broadway & Cabaret Series, this is a unique and captivating concert production of this classic Andrew Lloyd Webber smash-hit Broadway musical!

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Alice Ripley, Emily Skinner, Josh Young, Emily Padgett, Nick Adams, The Skivvies and many more in a concert of Elegies For Angels, Punks And Raging Queens on Thursday, January 18 at 7:00 and 9:30. With book and lyrics by Bill Russell, who will also host and music by Janet Hood, who will serve as Musical Director, Elegies ... was inspired by personal stories of those affected by HIV/AIDS and has been performed around the world. The score features such songs as My Brother Lived in San Francisco, And the Rain Keeps Falling Down and Learning To Let Go.

Transport Group has announced initial casting for Man of La Mancha - its first musical in this season's Anne L. Bernstein Concert Series.
