Broadway in Bryan Park continued its 2015 program on Thursday - and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the first day. HAPPY50ish! the hit musical comedy that opened to rave reviews will perform with the casts of Matilda, On The Town, Les Miserables and The Fantasticks at Broadway in Bryant Park today, July 30 at 12:30 p.m. on the Lawn. The event is being presented by 106.7 Lite FM and will be hosted by radio personality Helen Little and the cast of Perfect Crime.

Today, 106.7 LITE FM announced the return of its highly-anticipated, 15th annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.'

The Collegiate Chorale raised more than $300,000 at its annual Spring Benefit featuring the U.S. premiere of Kurt Weill and Franz Werfel's The Road of Promise at Carnegie Hall on May 7, 2015. Proceeds will go toward The Chorale's artistic and education initiatives.

This week's event featured performances from the casts of PIPPIN (Ciara Renee with Sam Lips, Nicolas Jelmoni and Charlotte O'Sullivan), CHICAGO (Bianca Marroquin, Amra-Faye Wright, Carol Woods, David Bushman and Nathan Madden), LES MISERABLES (Nikki M. James, Adam Monley and Betsy Morgan), and ATOMIC (David Abeles, Sara Gettelfinger, Jonathon Hammond, Randy Harrison, Jeremy Kushnier, James David Larson, and Grace Stockdale).

Today, 106.7 LITE FM announced the return of its much-anticipated, annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2014 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays beginning July 10 at 12:30 p.m. on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 14th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through August 14. Co-presenters for this year's 106.7 LITE FM'S Broadway in Bryant Park are NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Visit Sarasota.

With its images of mountains and edelweiss, 'The Sound of Music' might not seem like a natural fit for India's 'maximum city,' but the Bombay Chamber Orchestra begs to differ. Recruiting kids from the slums - home to half the city's population - the Orchestra sets out to stage a one-time-only choral performance of the Rogers & Hammerstein score.
