The Stella Adler Studio of Acting's Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater will present One Drop of Love, a multimedia solo performance by Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni. Written, produced and performed by Fanshen, One Drop of Love explores the intersections of race, class and gender in search of truth, justice and love, using the ever-changing racial categories on the U.S. Census as the historical backdrop.

The Attic Theater Company and Ted Caine will present the world premiere production of JERICHO, by Academy Award nominee (Ragtime) and Drama Desk award-winning playwright Michael Weller (Moonchildren), directed by artistic director Laura Braza (Where Has Tommy Flowers Gone?).

The Lark, a theater company devoted to the support of visionary playwrights and the development of new plays, has announced five New York City-based playwrights have been named as the 2017-18 Rita Goldberg Playwrights' Workshop Fellows. Center Theatre Group received submissions from 53 local theatre companies for the second annual Block Party: Celebrating Los Angeles Theatre at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. The Harold Clurman Playwrights Division, a program of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, is now accepting new play submissions. In the tenth annual search for a resident playwright, the division is calling for new dramatic works written exclusively by playwrights who identify as any of the following: Mexican, Muslim, African-American, immigrant, refugee, disabled, female or LGBTQ. The division is also seeking ensemble plays for casts of seven to ten female roles or gender neutral roles; all playwrights are welcome to apply with an ensemble play.
