ODC/Dance is pleased to announce the 31st season of The Velveteen Rabbit, KT Nelson's now classic dance theater interpretation of Margery Williams' beloved children's book. Performances take place at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts November 25 -December 10, 2017.

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, celebrates the opening of three Rolling World Premieres: Project Dawn by Karen Hartman, The Arsonists by Jacqueline Goldfinger, and Br'er Cotton by Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm. Community Matters at People's Light aims to spark conversation about relevant issues in the community with a diverse array of perspectives and voices. Performed readings of new plays are the centerpiece of each evening, followed by a discussion with community partners, special guests, artists, and audiences. Victory Gardens Theater continues its 42st season with the world premiere of Roz and Ray, written by Karen Hartman and directed by Artistic Director Chay Yew. Roz and Ray features Mary Beth Fisher (Roz) and James Vincent Meredith (Ray). This World Premiere runs tonight, November 11, through December 11, 2016, with the press performance today, November 18, 2016, at 7:30 pm at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.

Folger Theatre starts the 2015/16 season with a limited engagement of texts&beheadings/ElizabethR, a world premiere play which explores England's Queen Elizabeth I.  Produced in conjunction with the international theater collective Compagnia de' Colombari, the play is created and directed by Karin Coonrod (Henry VI at the Public Theater and Julius Caesar at Theatre for A New Audience) and will be presented as a part of Washington, D.C.'s city-wide Women's Voices Theater Festival. texts&beheadings/ElizabethR is on stage at Folger Theatre for 16 performances, September 19 - October 4, 2015.

INTAR continues its acclaimed 2014 - '15 season with the Off-Broadway premiere of Se Llama Cristina by Octavio Solis, beginning today, April 3rd, and continuing through May 3rd only. Opening Night is set for Monday, April 13th.
