I’ve never seen a lunar halo – a sparkling ring around the moon – so the fact that Cheng Tsung-lung’s work of the same name uses it as a premise is indeed intriguing. Cheng as both choreographer and Artistic Director, presents Cloud Gate Dance Theatre (of Taiwan) at Sadler’s Wells.

FULL CASTING ANNOUNCED FOR WISE CHILDREN’S NEW CO-PRODUCTION OF BLUE BEARD - WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY EMMA RICE. The full cast for the world premiere of Blue Beard, written and directed by Emma Rice, includes Isabel Adomakoh Young, Stu Barker, Mirabelle Gremaud, Stephanie Hockley, Patrycja Kujawska, Adam Mirsky, Katy Owen, and Tristan Sturrock. The production opens at Theatre Royal Bath on 8 February and embarks on a UK tour.

Shifters opens at the Bush Theatre on 16 February 2024. This surprising and playful world premiere, a new Bush Theatre commission written by Benedict Lombe (Lava, winner of the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize for Playwriting) and directed by Bush Theatre Artistic Director, Lynette Linton (August in England, Clyde's) will star Heather Agyepong (School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play) and Tosin Cole (Doctor Who).
