The Directors Company has announced the full cast for the reading of Agora a new play by Jodi Rothe, featuring Tony Award winner Bill Irwin (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf).

The Directors Company has announced its next play in its monthly reading series in The Directors Studio, Famous Blue Raincoat, by Robert Emmet Lunney, featuring Obie Award winner Russell G. Jones (Ruined), Florencia Lozano, and PJ Sosko. The reading will be directed by Jackson Gay.

Florencia Lozano (Tea Delgado on One Life To Live and currently featured as Claudia Messina on Narcos) and Dea Julian (Stet, The Blueprint Specials, Queen Mair) have been cast in a staged reading of BARABBAS, a play by Matthew J. Wells on Monday March 6, 7pm at the Bernie Wohl Center.

Just last night, Broadway's best came out for a special screening of Florence Foster Jenkins. Hosted by Colman Domingo, Cynthia Erivo, Patina Miller, Matthew Morrison, and Max von Essen, the evening celebrated Paramount's new film, which hits theatres on August 12.

Signature Theatre presents the world premiere of DAPHNE'S DIVE, written by Pulitzer Prize winner Quiara Alegria Hudes (Water by the Spoonful, In the Heights) and directed by Thomas Kail (Hamilton, Fox's 'Grease: Live'). The production just opened in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). The Farm Theater will present Bullpen Sessions: Work of the Actor to kick-off The Artist Co-Op's Pop-Up Event, with special guests Raul Castillo ("Looking" on HBO; "Gotham" on Fox), Marin Ireland (Ironbound at Rattlestick), and Florencia Lozano ("Narcos" on Netflix) on Tuesday, June 7 from 6-8pm at the Centre for Social Innovation (601 West 26th Street, Suite 325). A jazz music festival is turning heads in Mexico and it's called 'The New Standards'. The festival is a music project by Mexican musical theatre director, composer and arranger Jaime Lozano (The Yellow Brick Road Off Boradway) and his life partner Florencia Cuenca. They have put their great passions together: jazz and musical theatre.
