The “Spotlight on Plays” series has announced Emmy Award winner Eric McCormack and Brandon Burton will join previously announced star Mary-Louise Parker in Paula Vogel’s The Baltimore Waltz, directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz. The Baltimore Waltz will premiere on Thursday, April 29 at 8PM EST/5PM PST and will be available for a limited time only.

The theater community is coming together in Times Square today for the first time since Broadway was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March. The event, 'A Moment for Broadway,' is organized by volunteer organization NYCNext as part of a series of pop-up performances designed to bring renewed vibrancy to New York City.

Michael Kirk Lane Will Perform At Siena Heights University

Michael Kirk Lane, the winner of the 2018 BroadwayWorld Cabaret award for Best Show, and a three time Manhattan Association of Cabaret award nominee, returns to his alma mater, Siena Heights University, in Adrian MI, to headline an evening of holiday music. The show, 'A Christmas Wish' will take place on Saturday December 7, 2019 at 7:30 pm on the Haller Stage in the University's Spencer Performing Arts Center. Based on Harold Gray's comic strip titled Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a little orphan with equal measures of pluck and positivity who charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930's New York City. She is determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC, finds herself a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
