Terrorism Begins Off-Broadway Previews on May 9

In a first-time co-production, The New Group and The Play Company are pleased to present the American premiere of Terrorism. Written by the Presnyakov Brothers and directed by Will Frears, Terrorism will play a limited Off-Broadway engagement Monday, May 9th through Sunday, June 26th at The Clurman Theater/Theatre Row.

The League Of Off-Broadway Theatres And Producers is proud to announce the nominations for THE 20TH ANNUAL LUCILLE LORTEL AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT OFF-BROADWAY, which will be presented on Monday, May 2nd at Dodger Stages (340 West 50th Street) at 7 PM. A late night supper will follow at Ruth's Chris Steak House (148 West 51st Street). A cocktail reception to congratulate all of the nominees will be held on April 18th at Ruby Foo's Uptown (2182 Broadway at 77th Street).
Tony-winners Richard Easton and Maryann Plunkett Perform Shakespeare April 18

The Shakespeare Society will present Shakespeare's Fathers and Daughters, moderated by Harvard Professor Marjorie Garber, author of the acclaimed Shakespeare After All, on Monday, April 18th at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68th Street between Park & Lexington Avenues) from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Directed by Michael Sexton, Tony Award-winners Richard Easton (The Invention of Love) and Maryann Plunkett (Me and My Girl) along with Elizabeth Marvel (NYTW/Hedda Gabler) and Cherise Booth will perform scenes from several of Shakespeare's plays, including King Lear, Pericles, Much Ado About Nothing, and Romeo and Juliet.
