Following her recent fall while covering the Inauguration, as well as her chickenpox diagnosis, veteran VIEW host Barbara Walters, 83, announced today that she intends to return to the show in three weeks.

On today's THE VIEW on ABC, host Whoopi Goldberg revealed that fellow couch-mate Barbara Walters is recovering in the hospital from a case of the chicken pox. The legendary broadcaster recently fell and hit her head while covering the Inauguration weekend.
