The Paley Center for Media announced today the start of the 8th annual PaleyFest NY. The premier television festival features some of the most acclaimed and hottest television shows and biggest stars, delighting fans with exclusive behind-the-scenes scoops, hilarious anecdotes, and breaking news stories.

For the month of October, AMC+ has the largest collection of scares with more than 1,000 hours of the very best in horror programming.

Today AMC released all-new assets from season two of Eli Roth's History of Horror premiering Saturday, October 10 at 10:00pm ET/9c, including the official key art, teaser and episodic images.

On Friday, September 4, Disney+ will debut 10 episodes of its first original talk show “Earth to Ned,” produced by The Jim Henson Company and Marwar Junction Productions.  The fresh take on the late-night format stars larger-than-life extraterrestrial creatures Ned and Cornelius as they interview some of the biggest stars in our galaxy.

As previously announced at ComicCon@Home, AMC's The Walking Dead will air its season 10 finale on Sunday, October 4 at 9pm ET/8c immediately followed by the series premiere of The Walking Dead: World Beyond at 10pm ET/9c. Fear The Walking Dead returns for its sixth season on Sunday, October 11 at 9pm ET/8c.

THE VIOLET HOUR, a premium scripted horror podcast network, will premiere its first show IN ANOTHER ROOM, on Monday, August 10. AMC Networks announced today from the Television Critics' Association (TCA) Press Tour spring premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including the highly anticipated debuts of AMC's The Walking Dead: World Beyond and three-part series Quiz, a third season of BBC AMERICA's award-winning Killing Eve, the fourth and final season of IFC's acclaimed series Brockmire and the return of SundanceTV's psychological thriller Liar. As previously announced, AMC's Better Call Saul season five debuts with a special two-night premiere event on Sunday, February 23 at 10:00 p.m. ET/9c and Monday, February 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/8c and the new anthology series Dispatches From Elsewhere premieres Sunday, March 1 at 10:00 p.m. ET/9c. In addition, the next series in BBC AMERICA's Emmy® Award-winning Planet franchise, Seven Worlds, One Planet will air as a multi-network event across BBC AMERICA, AMC, IFC and SundanceTV this Saturday, January 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET/8c.

AMC announced today that it had renewed “Eli Roth's History of Horror” for a second season of six episodes. The second season, which will also appear on AMC Networks' horror streaming service, Shudder, will feature episodes devoted to monsters, evil children, witches, body horror, houses of hell and “Eli's Terrifying Twelve.” Season one reached nearly 6 million viewers on AMC in Nielsen live+7 ratings, the episodes later appeared on Shudder, and extended cuts of the interviews in the show were released as a podcast, which became the #2 podcast in the TV & Film genre – a true original programming trifecta.

Miramax announced today that they have acquired film rights to Lauren Iungerich's screenplay I WON'T BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS.Iungerich is set to direct, as well as produce, alongside Eli Roth and Roger Birnbaum, under their newly-formed Arts District Entertainment, Jamie Dooner, and Miramax's Bill Block.  Jennie Frisbie, Michael Besman and Miramax's Michael Lachance will Executive Produce.  Production is slated for June and will be supervised by Lachance. The film marks Iungerich's feature film directorial debut.

Director Tara Wood has successfully reclaimed the rights to the authorized Quentin Tarantino documentary feature, “21 Years: Quentin Tarantino”. The film, a celebration of Tarantino's works-to-date, looks at the passion behind the worldwide box office dominator. The lightening rod that is Tarantino's career illuminates the discussion of changes in the industry.

'The Girl in the Spider's Web' will premiere at the 13th Rome Film Fest. The festival's opening night film will be 'Bad Times at the El Royale.'
