Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) has announced the joyful and jubilant season of DIVAS from 20 to 23 July 2023 in the Playhouse. 

Ook Thomas Cammaert en Cystine Carreon zullen te zien zijn in de nieuwe Nederlandse musical Piaf. Eerder maakte producent De Theater BV dat Suzan Seegers de rol van Edith Piaf zal gaan spelen. Job Bovelander en Hein Gerrits maken de cast compleet. Piaf gaat op donderdag 12 oktober 2023 in première in DeLaMar in Amsterdam.

A Night in Paris is now playing at the Cameri Theatre. Performances run through 21 May. A magical night journey in the City of Light to the sounds of the best songs by Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour and others, performed by Cameri actors with musical accompaniment.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present the New York solo concert debut of Brittney Johnson – who made history as the first Black actress to play “Glinda” in Broadway’s Wicked – on Monday, May 1 at 7:00 PM.

The New York based JOFFREY BALLET CONCERT GROUP will appear Sunday May 14th, 7:30 pm at The Riverside Theater, located in Riverside Church, NYC.  The dancers will appear in works by Artistic Director Bradley Shelver and young choreographer Eric Trope, and will be joined by guest youth company, Le Jeune Ballet of Blue Ash Ohio, under the direction of former Joffrey Ballet dancer Steve Beirens.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present two-time Tony Award nominee and two-time Drama Desk winner Gavin Lee – making his Birdland debut with his solo show “Steppin’ Out with Fred Astaire” – on Monday, May 29 at 7:00 PM.

​​​​​​​Get transported back to mid-1900s Paris through the evocative songs of Edith Piaf on Saturday, May 20th. Town Hall Theatre will be hosting SonoMusette, featuring native Parisian singer Mimi Pirard as they perform Edith Piaf: Beyond Paris Skies.

Elena Bennett and Fred Barton have announced the return of their long-hailed 'Bennett & Barton Song Salon,' in the front room of Pangea, on two Tuesdays, April 11 and April 18. The event will run for three hours on each night, between 8:30pm and 11:30pm. There is no cover or minimum.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater have announced their jazz programming running February 7 through February 19. Performers appearing at Birdland Jazz Club include Gunhild Carling, Ben Markley Big Band Feat. Ari Hoenig, Catherine Russell and Sam Blakeslee Large Group. 

Parisian-born chanteuse and jazz instrumentalist Margot Sergent will return to Birdland Theater with The Edith Piaf Experience on February 16 at 8:30 pm.

Following the success of a sold-out Fringe run, critically-acclaimed alternative comedian John-Luke Roberts brings his brand-new hour 'A World Just Like Our Own, But…' to Soho Theatre from Monday 13th to Wednesday 15th February at 9pm.
