Stockton Symphony Orchestra to Perform OH WHAT A NIGHT! BILL BOARD HITS OF THE 1960's, 4/28

Broadway stars Ed Watts (The Fantasticks, Finian's Rainbow), Tituss Burgess (Guys and Dolls, Disney's The Little Mermaid) and Andrew Samonsky (South Pacific) will appear in concert with Maestro Peter Jaffe and the Stockton Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, April 28th at 8pm at Alex G. Spanos Center, University of the Pacific. Doors will open at 5:45pm and there will also be a picnic at 6:30pm. Together they will perform OH WHAT A NIGHT! BILL BOARD HITS OF THE 1960's (produced by Broadway Pops International). Featuring Billboard hits from 1957 through 1969 and music by: The Four Seasons, Ray Charles, Smokey Robinson, Bobby Darrin, Otis Redding, Righteous Brothers, Stevie Wonder, and Aretha Franklin.

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's epic voyage, The 5th Avenue Theatre presented Titanic: The Concert, April 13-15. With music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and book by Peter Stone, Titanic: The Concert was a unique way to celebrate the centennial of one of the most memorable events of the last century. Actors sang with the support of a 25-piece orchestra and the 80 voices of the award-winning Pacific Lutheran University Choral Union. The story of the Titanic came to life through music on The 5th Avenue stage on nights that coincided exactly with the ship's historic journey and tragic end. Broadway's Teri Dale Hansen (Showboat, Boys from Syracuse), Joy Jacobs (The Music Man, Marie Christine) , Ed Watts (The Fantasticks, Finian's Rainbow), and Robert Sims (Cendrillon, Lost in the Stars) will appear in concert with Maestro Christopher Confessore and the Alabama Symphony Orchestra Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Phillip Copeland on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 8:00pm at Samford University's Wright Center. The artists will perform Kern Tribute: Featuring Show Boat in Concert (produced by Broadway Pops International) featuring the greatest Kern songs combined with his greatest musical.

York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director), celebrating the legendary librettist and lyricist Tom Jones with Musicals in Mufti: The Tom Jones Festival, has announced the complete cast for the fourth musical in the spring series: Colette Collage, with Book & Lyrics by Tom Jones and Music by Harvey Schmidt. The limited engagement will play 5 performances April 27 - 29 at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
