The show opens on Sunday September 13 at 2:00 p.m., remaining performances are September 17-19 at 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 20 at 2 p.m., and September 23-26 at 8:00 p.m. Shows will be performed at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial?s Fries Auditorium, 32 Lake Shore Road in Grosse Pointe Farms . A new musical about a runaway slave who becomes one of America's first Black Cowboys will debut this fall when CROSS THAT RIVER is presented by The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Patricia Harris, starting October 12, 2009 at TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street - 3rd Floor) in New York City.

In conjunction with the Nashville Public Library's city-wide celebration of beloved author Mark Twain, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts has organized Thomas Hart Benton in Story and Song, which will be presented in a portion of the Ingram Gallery from Oct. 2, 2009 through Jan. 31, 2010.
