Chiseled morning show hosts, rock-hard reality show contestants and pumped up politicos took over the airwaves at this year's ratings-raising edition of Broadway Bares, an evening of elaborately staged burlesque production numbers that gave a new meaning to 'Bares TV.'

Tony Award-nominee Michael Arden has just concluded a weeklong research and development session led by Broadway and television star Tituss Burgess, Tony Award-winners Steve Kazee and Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Tony Award-nominee Valarie Pettiford (Fosse), in advance of a new production of the Stephen Sondheim masterwork Merrily We Roll Along, set to hit the stage of the Bram Goldsmith Theater at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts November 22, 2016 through December 18, 2016. Take the songs of young composer Scott Evan Davis and expose them to a bunch of Broadway babies from Houston making an eight-day trip to Manhattan and you've got the perfect ingredients for a revue that will hit the Davenport Theatre Mainstage on Monday, June 15 at 7 pm. (The Davenport Theatre is on 354 West 45th Street.) Called Perspectives, the revue was conceived by Houston-based Jeannine Rowden and her Rowden Music Studio, and will star 12 up-and-coming performers between ages eight and 18, most of whom are from the Houston area and all of whom are Rowden's musical theater and vocal students.

Pop star Ariana Grande, rose to immense popularity starring as the beloved Cat Valentine, culminating in her own hit series Sam & Cat. The series premiered on Nickelodeon in June 2013 and is now a bona fide hit for the network. Broadway fans knew her long before however, as she starred in the original cast of Broadway's '13'.

Just last night the Benefit Concert Reading of ASSASSINS took place at Studio 54, on the same Broadway stage that Assassins thrilled audiences in 2004. The evening featured musical direction by Paul Gemignani and reunited the stars of the 2004 Tony Award winning production, including: Becky Ann Baker (Sara Jane Moore), James Barbour (Leon Czolgosz), Mario Cantone (Samuel Byck), Michael Cerveris (John Wilkes Booth), Alexander Gemignani (John Hinckley), Neil Patrick Harris (Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald), Marc Kudisch (Proprietor), Jeffrey Kuhn (Giuseppe Zangara) and Denis O'Hare (Charles Guiteau). The role of Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme originally played by Mary Catherine Garrison, was played by Annaleigh Ashford.

The final 30 orchestra tickets for Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) benefit performance of ASSASSINS are now on sale.

I am excited to announce that we will produce a one-night-only reunion of our Tony Award winning production of Assassins as a Benefit Concert Reading. This masterwork by Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman will again be directed by Joe Mantello, along with the return of Paul Gemignani as Music Director.

One of the greatest joys of our job is seeing our audiences transformed by a theatre performance. At some point in Roundabout's 46-year history, you've likely experienced a play or musical that has inspired you. Roundabout has been fortunate to produce award-winning productions on Broadway for 20 years now. You may even recall our first Broadway production of Anna Christie at the Criterion Center in 1992.

Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott will end its limited engagement on Sunday, July 11th at 2:00PM.

Andrew Samonsky will replace Clarke Thorell in the role of third-class passenger Jim Farrell in the June 21 benefit concert of TITANIC, Grace Notes reported today. In this role, Samonsky will perform the new song 'Three Days' in its New York debut.

Sherie Rene Scott, star and creator of Everyday Rapture, along with her co-creator Dick Scanlan and co-stars Betsy Wolfe, Eamon Foley and Lindsay Mendez celebrated the release of the Everyday Rapture Cast Album (out by Ghostlight Records) with a CD signing for fans at the American Airlines Theatre.

To celebrate the worldwide, in-store release of the original cast recording of Everyday Rapture, the much raved about musical co-written by and starring Sherie Rene Scott, the entire cast will be holding an in-theater CD signing immediately following the 7:00 PM performance on Tuesday, June 15.
