Tony Award-nominee Michael Arden has just concluded a weeklong research and development session led by Broadway and television star Tituss Burgess, Tony Award-winners Steve Kazee and Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Tony Award-nominee Valarie Pettiford (Fosse), in advance of a new production of the Stephen Sondheim masterwork Merrily We Roll Along, set to hit the stage of the Bram Goldsmith Theater at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts November 22, 2016 through December 18, 2016. Future Broadway Babies to Perform Revue of Songs of Scott Evan Davis at Davenport Theatre, 6/15 at 7 pm

Take the songs of young composer Scott Evan Davis and expose them to a bunch of Broadway babies from Houston making an eight-day trip to Manhattan and you've got the perfect ingredients for a revue that will hit the Davenport Theatre Mainstage on Monday, June 15 at 7 pm. (The Davenport Theatre is on 354 West 45th Street.) Called Perspectives, the revue was conceived by Houston-based Jeannine Rowden and her Rowden Music Studio, and will star 12 up-and-coming performers between ages eight and 18, most of whom are from the Houston area and all of whom are Rowden's musical theater and vocal students.

Just last night the Benefit Concert Reading of ASSASSINS took place at Studio 54, on the same Broadway stage that Assassins thrilled audiences in 2004. The evening featured musical direction by Paul Gemignani and reunited the stars of the 2004 Tony Award winning production, including: Becky Ann Baker (Sara Jane Moore), James Barbour (Leon Czolgosz), Mario Cantone (Samuel Byck), Michael Cerveris (John Wilkes Booth), Alexander Gemignani (John Hinckley), Neil Patrick Harris (Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald), Marc Kudisch (Proprietor), Jeffrey Kuhn (Giuseppe Zangara) and Denis O'Hare (Charles Guiteau). The role of Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme originally played by Mary Catherine Garrison, was played by Annaleigh Ashford.
