Matthew Morrison has been nominated for a Tony Award for "Light in the Piazza" and Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for his starring role in the hit TV series "Glee." He will make his anticipated concert debut in the critically acclaimed Broadway @ Town Hall series, at Provincetown's Town Hall on Sunday, August 7 at 6:30 PM, with Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host. In anticipation of Pride Week, Thank You For Coming Out (TYFCO) is teaming up with Fun Home to hold an improv workshop benefiting the organizations I'm From Driftwood and How We G.L.O.W. Each of the four groups amplify the LGBTQ voice in a different way and aim to promote an understanding among communities. This workshop will encourage empathy, inclusivity and acceptance within the LGBTQ community by using and teaching the ideals of improv - listening, trust, respect, affirmation and connection with each other through the principle of Yes, And. TYFCO and Fun Home's main goal is that both I'm From Driftwood and How We G.L.O.W. can take what they learned back to their organizations and continue to inspire others.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Tony Award-nominee Rory O'Malley will reign as King George in the Broadway musical Hamilton starting today, April 11 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St). Jonathan Groff (Tony Award-Nominee) played his final performance on Saturday, April 9 to begin filming the lead role in David Fincher's new drama series for Netflix entitled 'Mindhunter.'

ABC Studios has cast the epic event limited series 'When We Rise,' written and created by Academy Award winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black. Starring in the event limited series are Guy Pearce ('Memento,' 'L.A. Confidential') as LGBT activist Cleve Jones, Mary-Louise Parker ('Weeds,' 'Angels in America') as women's rights leader Roma Guy and Rachel Griffiths ('Brothers and Sisters,' 'Six Feet Under') as her wife, social justice activist Diane. The roles of African American community organizer Ken Jones and transgender activist Cecelia Chung are still to be cast, among others.

Oppressed in Heels and A Letter for You presents THE TROJAN WOMEN, a new devised work pulled from interviews of women dealing with war in its many ravaging forms weaved into the narrative of Euripides' classic text. Nathaniel P. Claridad (the original company of Here Lies Love) directs and serves as head writer for the new investigative theatre piece that will play October 23rd through November 1 at the Access Theatre.
