MAMA AND HER BOYS to Close at Underground Theatre, 5/6; Show to Transfer Theatres

Mama and Her Boys will conclude its run at the Underground Theatre on May 6 when the original stars/creators, Ethan Paulini, Christopher Sidoli and Wendy Watson's initial contracts expire. The show began previews on February 18 and opened February 25. At the time of closing, the new Off-Broadway musical will have played 3 previews and 28 regular performances.

Mama and Her Boys, the new hit Off-Broadway musical playing an open ended run at the Underground Theatre will welcome Tory Ross (Kinky Boots, 9 to 5) to the cast on 4/15. Tracee Beazer will also return to the cast on 4/10. Previously announced upcoming guests include Bryan Knowlton (A Chorus Line), Emily McNamara (NEWsical) and 3 time Emmy nominee Colleen Zenk ('As the World Turns') and daughter Kelsey Crouch.

In response to overwhelming ticket demand, Mama and Her Boys, the new hit Off-Broadway musical playing an open ended run at the Underground Theatre will add additional performances in April. In addition to the weekly Monday performances at 9pm. Mama and Her Boys will add performances on Wednesday, April 10 at 9pm and Wednesday, April 17 and Tuesday, April 23 at 7pm. Tickets for additional performances are on sale now.

The first in Drew Overcash's new Exposed series, Pfeil has performed Joe's Pub, the American Theatre of Actors, Sidewalk Cafe, Le Patisserie, and The Bitter End. He was the resident composer with the ESL children's theatre company in Korea where he developed and produced The Nanny, Charlie's Video Game Adventure and Finding Home and his one man show Billy & Blake was recently premiered at the Tongue and Cheek Theatre. Also a proud AEA member, Pfeil has recently been seen in Man of La Mancha, A Christmas Carol (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey), Little Shop of Horrors (New Repertory Theatre), Paula Vogel's A Civil War Christmas (Huntington Theatre Company), Assassins (Company One), To Kill a Mockingbird (UCCS Theatreworks).
