The exhibition Matthew Weiner's Mad Men, which opened March 14 at Museum of the Moving Image, will be extended through the summer, closing on Sunday, September 6, it was announced by Carl Goodman, the Museum's Executive Director. 'A landmark TV series, Mad Men will continue to be watched, discussed, and studied for years to come. Given the extraordinary popularity of the exhibition, which has attracted a broader public beyond fans of the show, the Museum is very pleased to extend its run,' said Goodman.

Including historically-accurate pieces such as Lucky Strike cigarettes, authentic alcoholic beverage bottles, as well as a slew of costume pieces, a collection of the artifacts has been donated to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. Stars Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks, and John Slattery attended the official donation ceremony along with creator Matthew Weiner and AMC president Charlie Collier. Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation presents its second season at the Arcadia Performing Arts Center -- Three Dog Night on Saturday, January 10 at 8 pm; The Four Tops on Saturday, February 21 at 8 pm; Big Bad Voodoo Daddy on Friday, March 27 at 8 pm; The Muppet Movie Sing-a-Long on Saturday, May 16 at 2 pm and Dick Fox Doo Wop Extravaganza on Saturday, June 6 at 7 pm. This four concert season, and the additional attraction The Muppet Movie Sing-A-Long, is presented by the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation and is a means of raising funds to support arts in the schools and maintain this new, state-of-the-art facility.

Seth Rudetsky's Broadway Concert Series at the Parker Playhouse produced by Mark Cortale will welcome Audra McDonald -- the historic six-time Tony winner and star of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, Porgy and Bess, Ragtime, and Master Class as well as TV's Private Practice, on January 8, 2015; followed by Cheyenne Jackson -- star of TV's 30 Rock and Glee and Broadway's Damn Yankees and Xanadu on February 14; and Sutton Foster -- two-time Tony winner for Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie and star of ABC's Bunheads and the new TV Land series Younger debuting on March 20. Each concert will feature Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host. What differentiates the series from any other is the seamless mix of intimate behind-the-scenes stories from Broadway's biggest stars -- prompted by the encyclopedic-minded Rudetsky's probing, funny, revealing questions -- and their stellar singing of Broadway show tunes.
