The Chicago Sun-Times reports that an announcement is expected on Monday for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee to have a sitdown production in the city.

Composer/lyricist William Finn and the cast of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will turn out at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Square on August 3rd to perform songs from the show and sign CDs

The cast recording of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will be released on Ghostlight Records on May 31st

The Official Drama Desk Cocktail Reception honoring this year's nominees was held on May 3. The awards ceremony takes place on Sunday, May 22.

A limited number (20) of $25 lottery tickets will be offered at every performance.
