National Geographic's Critically Acclaimed Legacy Series EXPLORER to Return to the Network This Fall

National Geographic announced today that the longest-running documentary series on television, the critically acclaimed EXPLORER, will return in fall 2018 as a central part of the National Geographic multiplatform universe. EXPLORER, from National Geographic Studios, will exist across platforms with the launch of 'Open Explorer,' an online field journal for explorers and scientists to document their expeditions in real-time, National Geographic magazine content that will be brought to life through the series, original weekly digital and social extensions as well as series extensions and one-of-a-kind NatGeo Live! events across the country. With Phil Keoghan, the Emmy award-winning TV personality on board as the new host, the upcoming season of EXPLORER - with 20 all-new episodes - will continue the series' longstanding mission to deepen viewers' understanding of the world through complex, compelling and provocative storytelling. The new season, currently in production, will premiere on National Geographic in 172 countries and 43 languages.

The Off-Broadway hit Men Are From Mars - Women Are From Venus LIVE! is a one-man fusion of theatre and stand-up and a light-hearted theatrical comedy based on The New York Times #1 best-selling book of the last decade by John Gray. Moving swiftly through a series of vignettes, the show covers everything from dating and marriage to the bedroom. This show returns to the Aronoff Center's intimate Jarson-Kaplan Theater on Friday, April 13 at 7:30 PM and Saturday, April 14 at 4:00 PM & 7:30 PM.

ABC News' “Nightline” drew 1.377 million Total Viewers, 526,000 Adults 25-54 and 395,000 Adults 18-49 during the 2nd Quarter 2017, based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” led CBS' “The Late Late Show with James Corden” (1.314 million, 473,000 and 364,000, respectively) during the quarter in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+63,000), Adults 25-54 (+53,000) and Adults 18-49 (+31,000).

16th Annual Tribeca Film Festival Announces Lineup - 57 World Premieres, 40% Women Directed, Sports Themes and More!

The 16th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its lineup of 57 thought-provoking and diverse short films in competition, including 36 world premieres. The selected shorts, 40% of which were directed by women, and include filmmakers from every corner of the globe, were curated from a record 4,385 submissions. They will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs, consisting of five narrative, four documentary, and, for the second year, one animated program. In addition, there is the Sports Shorts program as part of the 11th annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival, sponsored by Mohegan Sun. The Shorts program, sponsored by Nutella Originals, is a part of the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, which runs April 19-30.
