This star-studded evening will feature a guest performance by South African hit recording artist and producer Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse. Like the first, this concert will also feature world-premiere songs created by Broadway and New York composers, like Jeff Bowen, performed by Broadway stars like Shoshana Bean and Eden Espinosa. Through the support of honorary chairs and board members, like award-winning singer-songwriter-actress Deborah Cox, this benefit concert will raise awareness of and celebrate the work Broadway in South Africa does to provide artistic and educational opportunities for underprivileged youth. R&B singer, songwriter and actress Deborah Cox will headline Broadway in South Africa's second annual benefit concert on Monday, October 5th, at 7:30 PM at New York City's Peter Norton Symphony Space.

TADA! Youth Ensemble has been invited to perform along side Broadway and recording star Shoshana Bean at the 2nd Annual Benefit for Broadway in South Africa. The award-winning, multi-platinum recording artist Deborah Cox, who made her Broadway debut taking over the title role in AIDA, is set to return to Broadway as Josephine Baker -- the exotic Parisian star of the famed Folies Bergère -- in the new musical JOSEPHINE, featuring music by three-time Grammy-nominee Steve Dorff, lyrics by Oscar and Golden Globe-nominee John Bettis, and book by Ellen Weston and Mark Hampton. Joey McKneely is set to direct and choreograph.

Broadway in South Africa will be the featured entertainment for tonight's opening dinner for the US Fund for UNICEF's 2009 Annual Meeting entitled 'Believe in Zero.' CNN's Anderson Cooper, of Anderson Cooper 360, is the guest speaker. The event takes place tonight, Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 6:30 p.m at the Altman Building, 135 West 18th Street.
