Imagination Stage has revived their Helen Hayes Award-winning 2012 production of 'The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe' for the 2019 holiday season. With stunning sets and engaging musical elements, it's not hard to see why this production is a local favorite. The show takes a well-known tale and retells with the fun creativity of a children's production, but with the sensibilities that play to adults' nostalgia.

For Hudson Warehouse's 16th Season, they are excited to announce The World Premiere of their original adaptation of Alexandre Dumas's The Man in the Iron Mask. Hudson Warehouse has taken on a four-year long series they've called "The Dumas Adventures." Over four years, they will present Alexandre Dumas's most celebrated works: The Three Musketeers in 2017, The Three Musketeers: 20 Years Later in 2018, The Man in the Iron Mask in 2019 and in 2020, what can be considered Dumas's masterpiece: The Count of Monte Cristo.

Performances of The Golden Girls Musical Parody: PRIDE Edition begin Wednesday, June 19 at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue) for a three-week engagement through July 6. Hailed 'hilariously outsized' by The New York Times, the musical comedy - updated with new story elements for PRIDE and featuring an original pop score - is written and directed by Nick Brennan with music, lyrics and movement also by Mr. Brennan.
