Critically acclaimed and widely celebrated “Come From Away,” a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will return to Los Angeles at Center Theatre Group / Ahmanson Theatre for a limited engagement May 31 through June 12.

Last night, Girl From The North Country hosted a special performance and gala to celebrate their third time opening on Broadway, as well as their seven Tony Award nominations, including “Best New Musical.” 

Full casting is today announced for the award-winning smash-hit production of Girl From  The North Country, written and directed by celebrated playwright Conor McPherson (The  Weir, The Seafarer) with music and lyrics by Bob Dylan.

Today, it was announced that the North American Tour of the acclaimed Girl From The North Country, nominated for 7 Tony Awards including Best Musical, will have its technical rehearsals and tour premiere at Hennepin Theatre Trust's historic Orpheum Theatre in the Fall of 2023.

David Mirvish will present an exclusive 25th Anniversary production of 2 Pianos 4 Hands, starring the show's creators and original stars, Ted Dykstra and Richard Greenblatt. 2 Pianos 4 Hands will play June 4 to July 17 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, where it had its first major production in 1998 after its brilliant premiere at the Tarragon Theatre.

Jake Epstein's long awaited (and twice delayed) exuberant and bittersweet musical love letter to show business, Boy Falls From the Sky, originally scheduled to play at the CAA Theatre will move to the Royal Alexandra Theatre and play April 19 to May 29. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will present the Washington, D.C. premiere of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s OKLAHOMA! at the Kennedy Center’s Eisenhower Theater April 5–10, 2022.

 In the last two years, only a handful of shows have been on the stages of the Mirvish theatres under very restrictive conditions. But this spring holds the most promising opportunity for theatre to truly return to our city, albeit with safety protocols in place.
