Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company is pleased to announce it has been named one of the nation's Top Small Workplaces by the Wall Street Journal and Winning Workplaces. Steppenwolf is one of 15 winners announced today from a pool of 330 initial applicants and 35 finalists.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company's Board of Trustees announced today the award of a three-year, $300,000 challenge grant from The Elizabeth Morse Charitable Trust. The grant will enable the theater to leverage new and increased support of its productions from major individual supporters. It was announced today that the Pulitzer Prize Board has awarded the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama to Steppenwolf ensemble member Tracy Letts' critically-acclaimed American play August: Osage County.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company is currently accepting applications for its 2008-2010 African-American Fellowship, a two-year professional development program for early and mid-career African-American arts administrators. The application deadline is March 15, 2008.
