Magic Theatre is thrilled to welcome back renowned playwright Octavio Solis for the National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere of Se Llama Cristina, directed by Producing Artistic Director Loretta Greco and running January 23 - February 17. A talented cast energizes the critically acclaimed play, Bill W. and Dr. Bob, by Samuel Shem and Janet Surrey, to close the highly successful 2011-2012 season for San Jose Rep. Directed by Richard Seer, the work is a quick-witted and honest docu-drama following two dynamic and dedicated men who, in the midst of their battle with acute and debilitating alcoholism, formed a formidable and historic alliance to help each other and others combat the same addiction.

Students of all ages can sign up for a summer of fun at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Classes abound in expanded offerings for kids and adults during the School of Theatre's summer session - plus, teens have a special opportunity to spend part of their break in a four-week Summer Intensive or the new Teen Actors Studio. Activities begin July 2 at the Theatre's performing-arts complex in downtown Berkeley.

Classes at the Tony Award-winning Berkeley Repertory Theatre's School of Theatre begin on July 6, and the summer session includes 12 classes for adults, three classes for students in elementary school, and a theatre intensive for teens. The first session, for students entering grades 6-8, takes place on weekdays from June 21 through July 16. The second session, for teens in grades 9-12, is held July 19 through August 13. Berkeley Repertory Theatre begins enrollment today for the spring session at its School of Theatre, as well as a summer intensive for teens. With two summer camps, 28 spring classes, and a Sunday Sampler on March 21, Berkeley Rep offers exciting activities for all ages and all abilities.
