More than 200 guests gathered for a spectacular evening earlier this month at the World of Wonder Gala 2022 – The Soaring Twenties: Reaching New Heights! raising funds to support Childsplay's educational programs.

Childplay's pop culture phenomenon Schoolhouse Rock LIVE! brings its national tour back home again for a four-week run on Stage West at the Herberger Theater Center from April 23 to May 22.

Produced by Chuck Ainlay and Lovett, 12th of June features a mix of new originals, standards by Nat King Cole and Dave Frishberg, and a Horace Silver instrumental, representing Lovett’s dynamic live performances with his Large Band. The curtain will come up on an evening of imagination and wonder to benefit Childsplay at the World of Wonder Gala 2022 – The Soaring Twenties: Reaching New Heights! beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 2 at the newly renovated SRP Pera Club, 1 E. Continental Drive in Tempe.

Dallas Children's Theater makes way for young children and their parents to laugh and learn when SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! hits the stage January 25 through February 23 at the Rosewood Center for the Arts. Based on the 70's Saturday morning cartoon which re-surfaced in the 90's to become a pop culture classic: SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE promises all that nostalgic people love and more. These iconic episodes take to the Dallas Children's Theater (DCT) stage in the form of a zany rock musical bursting with songs for all ages.

The 48th season of the popular Highlights In Jazz series gets off to a roaring start on Feb. 13, 2020, when producer Jack Kleinsinger presents the Highlights In Jazz 47th Anniversary Gala. Featured performers include bassist Jay Leonhart, pianist Tomoko Ohno, drummer Bobby Sanabria, saxophonist Steve Wilson, percussionist/drummer Memo Acevedo, violinist/mandolinist Aaron Weinstein, and drummer Vito Lesczak. And, in keeping with the beloved HIJ tradition, a surprise special guest will be on hand for the concert, held at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.

The upcoming 2020 season is no exception, with the exciting four-concert series bringing together stellar musicians including Jimmy Cobb, Jay Leonhart, Bernard Purdie, Art Baron, Russell Malone and others. Count on hearing unforgettable performances from Wycliffe Gordon, Peter and Will Anderson, Victor Lewis, Eddie Daniels, joined by an array of greats.

For almost a half century, the Jack Kleinsinger-produced events have brought together a multitude of beloved jazz musicians spanning an eclectic mix of generations and styles. The 2019 season is no exception, with four stellar concerts featuring some of the brightest luminaries in jazz today.

The 47th season of Highlights In Jazz kicks off with an all-star concert featuring pianist/vocalist Daryl Sherman, saxophonist Houston Person, trumpeter Warren Vaché, clarinetist/saxophonist Ken Peplowski, pianist Norman Simmons, bassist Boots Maleson, and guitarist James Chirillo, plus a special surprise guest.

Susan Mack's solo show, Nobody Else But Me, debuts on Saturday, January 19 at 5:30 PM at Don't Tell Mama.
