Travis Moser Releases New Linda Ronstadt Tribute Album JUST ONE LOOK

Travis Moser, a staple of the New York City cabaret scene, has released a new album of songs in tribute to legendary singer Linda Ronstadt. Travis's latest full length album, titled Just One Look: The Songs of Linda Ronstadt, was recorded live and is based on his sold-old show of the same name, which premiered at The Green Room 42 and featured special guests Molly Pope, Jack Bartholet, Cathy Cervenka and Daryl Glenn. During the run of the show, Front Row Center raved, 'If you ever see Travis Moser's name come up on a marquee, treat yourself and get a ticket.'

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has announced the 2019 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories.
LOST IN A DREAM Singing Competition Winner To Be Chosen On For $20,000 Prize, 4/15

The five finalists of the "Lost in a Dream" karaoke-style competition will perform live from 3pm-4:30pm on April 15 at the St. Jean Baptiste Church Theater located at 184 East 76th Street in New York City, where a winner will be chosen! Free To Be Me will be hosted by the one and only Doris Dear. The evening will feature a lineup of male performers who will sings songs they were told they could never sing because they are men. At a ceremony held earlier this week in New York, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs announced the winners of the 2016 MAC Awards. A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Amanda McBroom. Also honored with a Board of Directors award was Maryann Lopinto. Jamie deRoy received the Ruth Kurtzman Benefit Award on behalf of her work with The Actors Fund: Jamie deRoy & Friends Cabaret Initiative. Sally Darling received the Hanson Award. The show was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Matt Baker.
