Manhattan Theatre Club will postpone the opening night performance of Ruben Santiago-Hudson’s Lackawanna Blues as the veteran performer, writer, and director continues to recover from a back injury sustained last week.

Ruben Santiago-Hudson had a back injury this week. As a result, performances of RUBEN SANTIAGO-HUDSON’s LACKAWANNA BLUES are cancelled this evening and over the weekend.

Singapore International Festival of Arts will present Three Sisters 三姐妹, a commissioned world premiere from Nine Years Theatre, an award-winning Singapore Mandarin theater company, and SITI Company, a leading New York-based theater ensemble celebrated internationally.

The event will begin March 25 at 7 PM with La Femme's executive director Jean Lichty, “In Conversation” with Tony-nominee and Theater Hall of Fame-inductee, director Emily Mann and five-time Emmy nominee and Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad. Iguana will stream through March 28, 2021.

La Femme Theatre Productions' presentation of Tennessee Williams's The Night of the Iguana, directed by Emily Mann, was initially streamed this past December and raised nearly $17K for The Actors Fund. La Femme will present an Encore streaming of The Night of the Iguana in celebration of Tennessee Williams's 110th birthday on March 26, 2021.

Seattle Rep will present the Broadway production of August Wilson's Jitney, beginning February 28 in the Bagley Wright Theater. Directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Jitney was the last of Wilson's plays to premiere on Broadway, where it won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play.
