After 32 years, it seems as if every year everyone and his agent sends a one-act play script to The Ensemble Studio Theatre for its annual marathon of one-act plays, the oldest, acclaimed one-act play festival in the country.

Following Time Out Critics' Choice at the White Bear Theatre and a transfer to Oval House, Good Night Out Presents a new re-imagined production of Daniel Reitz's STUDIES FOR A PORTRAIT for an eight-week run at the King's Head Theatre, beginning March 30th and running through May 23rd.

In celebration of its 15th Anniversary season, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater will present theaterjam, a one-day festival featuring the work of many of the company's favorite playwrights, actors and directors. The event will take place at the Rattlestick Theatre (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South between West 11th & Perry Streets) on Sunday, March 28th. Doors will open at 3:00pm. There is a $10 admission charge (cash only) for all day entry - and includes one free beer! There will even be a raffle drawing for amazing prizes. Patrons are free to come and go as they please and attend any - or all! - of the festival's many offerings.

After the critical success and sold out runs of its first two Off-Broadway productions, with Piece by Piece Productions-of Slipping at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and Too Much Memory at the New York Theatre Workshop's Fourth Street Theatre-Caffe Cino Fellowship winning company Rising Phoenix Rep has returned to the backroom pub space at the Seventh Street Small Stage to present the world premiere of Afterclap, award-winning playwright and screenwriter Daniel Reitz's new site-specific play. Directed by RPR Artistic Director Daniel Talbott, the production features Haskell King.
