Art, history, and humanity align in City Theatre's upcoming production of The Guard by Jessica Dickey. Directed by Artistic Director Tracy Brigden, the play will run March 11-April 2 on the Main Stage, continuing the 2016-17 season of new plays.

Darko Tresnjak, Artistic Director, and Michael Stotts, Managing Director, announced today that Hartford Stage will join hands with more than 300 theatres nationwide for the launch of The Ghostlight Project, a national expression of unity among artists and audiences, at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, in the Geo and Laura Estes Lobby.

The Desert Rose Playhouse is participating in 'The Ghostlight Project', on January 19, 2017. In each time zone across the country, members of the theater community from Broadway to regional theaters to high schools and colleges and community theaters will come together to launch THE GHOSTLIGHT PROJECT. Gathering outside of theaters on the eve of the Presidential Inauguration, people will join in creating 'light' for the challenging times ahead.
