This November, the Roxy Regional Theatre brings the Great American Novel from the page to the stage with the regional premiere of F. Scott Fitzgerald's THE GREAT GATSBY. The production, adapted by Simon Levy, is the only stage version authorized by the Fitzgerald estate since 1926. A finalist for the PEN Literary Award in Drama, its world premiere at Minneapolis' Guthrie Theater commemorated the opening of the Guthrie's new three-stage center in July 2006.

The question of who determines a child's fate amidst drug addiction, religion and child custody laws takes center stage in Rebecca Gilman's newest work, Luna Gale, directed by Goodman Theatre Artistic Director Robert Falls.

With their signature blend of storytelling, science, and music, hosts Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich romp through hundreds of millions of years of history to arrive at the end, again and again. With a cinematic live score created before the audience's eyes by On Fillmore and Noveller, this evening will be a thought-provoking and laughter-inducing dance on the grave of our inevitable demise. The show also features comedian Ophira Eisenberg.

Sundance Institute today announced the acting company, artists-in-residence and creative advisors for the seven projects being developed at its 2013 Theatre Lab, July 8-28 at the Sundance Resort in Utah. Appropriate begins previews tonight, March 5, opens March 7 and runs through April 7.
