FOX has renewed comedy series NEW GIRL for its sixth season, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

Carolines on Broadway announces its line-up for the month of August 2015, highlighted by headliners Damon Wayans Jr., from FOX's “New Girl” and the film “Let's Be Cops,” on August 1; An Evening with Kevin Smith, director of “Clerks” and “Mall Rats,” on August 2 and 3; Deon Cole, from MTV2's “Nick Cannon Presents: Wild n Out,” ABC's “Black-ish” and the upcoming film “Barber Shop 3,” August 6 - 9; Alonzo Bodden, from NBC's “Last Comic Standing” and his Showtime special “Who's Paying Attention?”, August 13 - 16; Chris D'Elia, from NBC's “Undateable” and his Netflix special “Incorrigible,” August 20 - 23; and J.B. Natasha Leggero is an accomplished actress, writer, and stand-up comedian whose garnered attention across film, television and the web. Leggero created, wrote, produced and will star in the upcoming Comedy Central sitcom, Another Period. The series will premiere on June 23, running for 10 weeks and is produced by Ben Stiller's Red Hour. Stemming from her breakout appearance on the Comedy Central Roast of James Franco, Natasha was recently lauded as the stand out roaster on the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber, which aired on March 30, 2015. The actress has also recently appeared in an episode for NBC's Marry Me and the hit show Modern Family in the episode “Fight or Flight.”

I claim to not be sentimental or a romantic, but if I told you I didn't tear up a few times during this finale episode, I would be lying. There was a little something for everyone in this one and shippers of at least one couple left the evening more than satisfied.

BroadwayWorld previously reported that Dakota Johnson, Leslie Mann, Dan Stevens, and Rebel Wilson are in talks to join the upcoming rom-com HOW TO BE SINGLE, and now Variety writes that New Line is also courting NEW GIRL star Damon Wayans, Jr. to join its roster.
