The 2013 Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust honored playwrights Annie Baker and Rajiv Joseph at last night's 2013 Steinberg Playwright Awards held at Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. The evening also highlighted the work of David Henry Hwang, who received the 2012 Steinberg Distinguished Playwright Award, as last year's event was canceled due to Hurricane Sandy. Signature Theatre has announced that Cole Horibe ("So You Think You Can Dance") will play the role of Bruce Lee in the World Premiere of David Henry Hwang's new play KUNG FU, directed by Leigh Silverman. The production runs February 4 through March 16, 2014 with a February 24, 2014 opening night in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42ndStreet between 9th and 10th Avenues). Tickets will go on sale December 3, 2013. All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access.

Tonight, Aug. 29 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the competition continues when the Top Eight finalists - Lindsay Arnold, Witney Carson, Eliana Girard, Cole Horibe, Tiffany Maher, Cyrus Spencer, Will Thomas and Chehon Wespi-Tschopp- will be paired with new All-Star partners. Additionally, Jesse Tyler Ferguson ('Modern Family') will guest-judge.

The judges of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE announced the Top 20 finalists who will compete to be named America's Favorite Male and Female Dancer. This season's Top 20 finalists are: Girls - Alexa Anderson, Lindsay Arnold, Witney Carson, Audrey Case, Janaya French, Eliana Girard, Amber Jackson, Janelle Issis, Amelia Lowe and Tiffany Maher; and Boys - Daniel Baker, Nick Bloxsom-Carter, Cole Horibe, Matthew Kazmierczak, Dareian Kujawa, George Lawrence II, Brandon Mitchell, Cyrus Spencer, Will Thomas and Chehon Wespi-Tschopp.
