Today is DAY 6 and I'm REALLY EXCITED to share this one with you. I think Christine Pedi is one of New York's best kept secrets. The girl is INSANELY talented and I would cast in her in just about anything.

It's that time again to laugh out loud and stretch those funny bones. Back by popular demand, FST Improv returns on October 18 and runs through January 3, 2015 with the classic game show, OUT OF BOUNDS MATCH-UP.

Nearly three years after its London opening, Washington's own Quotidian Theatre Company offers us the American premiere of a play that should soon find itself in regular rotation nationwide. Quotidian, with its reputation for understated yet compelling shows, has gone all-out with this production and done Mr. McPherson proud. With a solid, seasoned cast and brilliant period touches in set and costumes, 'The Veil' should be at the top of your list!

Internationally-acclaimed playwright Conor McPherson's period drama The Veil is given its US premiere at Quotidian Theatre Company. The New York Times called McPherson 'the finest playwright of his generation'. The Veil made its world premiere at National Theatre in a production Evening Standard called 'atmospheric and haunting'. Quotidian has staged six prior productions of McPherson's work. The US premiere production runs through August 17 at The Writer's Center in downtown Bethesda.

FST Improv returns for another Summer season which kicks off on Saturday, June 7 at 7:30pm in Bowne's Lab Theatre. The Summer Improv shows will run through August 23. After a laughter-filled hit winter season, FST Improv returns for a special spring fling run of "April Fools." This hilarious series will feature a no fools barred smack down, culminating in the crowning of the "fool of fools." The comedy begins on Saturday, April 13th for a limited engagement continuing Fridays and Saturdays April 19, 20, 26 and 27 at 8:30 pm in the new John C. Court Cabaret.

Due to a successful opening, the FST Improv troupe will continue to bring on the laughter with two additional performances on Friday, February 8 and Friday, February 15 at 8:30pm. The Improv troupe creates characters and sketches on the spot. Not even the performers know what to expect - until it happens. Sarasota's original antidepressant performances will take place in the Goldstein Cabaret on Saturday nights at 8:30pm through February 2, with the added performances on Friday, February 8 and Friday, February 15 at 8:30pm.
