Billy Crystal Performs 700 Sundays For Kravis Center Benefit, 12/6

Billy Crystal will perform his hit one-man show, 700 Sundays, at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts as a fundraising event for the organization. The performance will be followed by a black-tie dinner-dance in the Gimelstob Ballroom in the Cohen Pavilion.

On November 27 and 28, 2009 Rebecca Luker will join Shirley Jones and the National Symphony Orchestra Pops for NSO Pops: The Music of The Music Man. These concert reviews of songs from Meredith Willson's The Music Man will be led by Principal Pops Conductor Marvin Hamlisch and will also feature the City Choir of Washington. The performances will take place during Thanksgiving weekend in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall on Friday, November 27 at 1:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Saturday, November 28 at 8 p.m.

Superstars from the worlds of pop, rock, R&B, Broadway, hip-hop and more joined together to contribute their time and talents to a cause bigger than stuttering - a call for compassion and acceptance, and for respect of one-another's differences.
