Part of the international collaboration between The Public Theater, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and Miami's GableStage, ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA features Jonathan Cake as Antony and Joaquina Kalukango as Cleopatra and is directed and edited by Tarell Alvin McCraney. This Shakespearean tragedy, fresh from engagements in Stratford-upon-Avon and Miami's Colony Theatre, begins performances on February 18 and will run through March 23 in The Public's Anspacher Theater, with an official press opening on March 5. The Public Theater will begin performances for ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA on Tuesday, February 18 in The Public's Anspacher Theater, the culmination of the international collaboration between The Public Theater, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and Miami's GableStage. ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA is directed and edited by Tarell Alvin McCraney with Joaquina Kalukango as Cleopatra and Jonathan Cake as Mark Antony. This rarely-seen Shakespearean tragedy will run through Sunday, March 23, with an official press opening on Wednesday, March 5. The Public Theater has announced casting today for the international collaboration of Shakespeare's ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, produced by The Public Theater, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and Miami's GableStage. Directed and edited by Tarell Alvin McCraney, ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA will play in Stratford-upon-Avon at the RSC's Swan Theatre (November 7-30, 2013), before travelling to the United States for an engagement in Miami Beach at The Colony Theater (January 11-February 9, 2014) followed by a limited run at The Public Theater (February 18-March 23, 2014). ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA features a transatlantic cast that includes Jonathan Cake as Mark Antony and Joaquina Kalukango as Cleopatra.

The Siti Company, an ensemble based theatre company created by Anne Bogart and Tadashi Suzuki, is famous for its combination of Viewpoints and Suzuki, two very different acting trainings that focus on movement and gesture, and concentration and strength, respectively. This weekend, their production of Trojan Women, which utilized both acting techniques, came to ArtsEmerson, and audiences poured in after a very exhausting week here in the city.

The Guthrie Theater today announced that beginning tonight, December 27, the theater will offer its first-ever 'Tweet Seats' during four consecutive Thursday performances of The Servant of Two Masters, allowing social media users an opportunity to interact during the show. A limited number of seats located in a balcony level of the McGuire Proscenium in a section that will not be disruptive to other patrons will be designated as Tweet Seats. Tweet Seat tickets are $15 and are available by calling the Guthrie Box Office at 612.377.2224, and mentioning 'Tweet.' Tickets are not available online, with other offers, or on previously purchased tickets. Handing fees may apply.
