ASCAP Award-winner Chip Deffaa's 'Say it with Music' cast album--with a cast of 21 led by  Michael Townsend Wright and Jed Peterson, who helped develop the show at New York's 13th Street Theater--is out now!  The album--featuring no less than 40 songs by Irving Berlin---may be ordered now (as either a physical CD or digital download).

ASCAP Award-winner Chip Deffaa's 'Say it with Music' cast album, co-starring Michael Townsend Wright and Jed Peterson, who helped develop the show at New York's 13th Street Theater, will be released on May 23rd. 

This week's list includes a new limited edition orange vinyl of the 2017 revival cast recording of Once on This Island, as well as a purple vinyl edition of the 1964 cast recording of My Fair Lady. Friends and admirers of Irving Berlin from New York's theater community--continuing a tradition they began back while Berlin was alive--recently gathered at his former home in New York City to remember him in song. They sang such Berlin classics as 'God Bless America,' 'White Christmas,' and 'Always,' complete with rarely heard verses. Berlin (1888-1989) composed the scores for 18 Broadway shows and 19 films. He wrote more standards and made more money than any of his colleagues in the Golden Aged of American Popular Music.
