Abingdon Theatre Company has announced the opening of submissions for their Virtual Festival of Short Plays. The third annual Virtual Festival of Short Plays is a virtual festival shedding light on stories by people of color.

Abingdon Theatre Company has announced two new Artists in Residence for their upcoming 30th Season beginning in the fall. Reynaldo Piniella and Pierre Marais are set to be the next participants in the Carolyn Halpert Artist in Residence Program, which began in 2017.

Sarah Lunnie will be joining The Public Theater staff as Senior Dramaturg. Sarah Lunnie is a dramaturg who works mainly on the creation and development of new plays. Sarah was previously an Associate Artistic Director of the Jungle Theater, the Literary Director of Playwrights Horizons, and the Literary Manager at Actors Theatre of Louisville.
