The Musical Box Theatre presents The Addams Family in concert style from March 23-26 at the Double Barrel Roadhouse in Red Lion, Pa. The show was directed by Shana McCoy and choreographed by Rebecca Gentry. A concert performance utilizes minimal set design, staging, and costume changes. Music stands were used in this performance and uniquely incorporated into the show. Stripped to the bare bones, the voices and music are fully appreciated. The cast did an excellent job using their voices to tell the story of the Addams family.

A voting board in the school district of Northern Lebanon, Pennsylvania has vetoed a proposed production of the popular musical, The Addams Family.

And New Generation Theatrical’s latest production of the musical hits all the right notes (played on an old, dusty organ of course) and creates an immersive treat that is a thrill to experience.

South African performance artist Jemma Kahn and her seven kamishibai stories both start off appearing quite ordinary before revealing remarkable levels of sex, violence and all manner of delightfully sordid behaviour.

The Blue Hill Troupe, New York City's only philanthropic musical theater group, will open its 99th season with The Addams Family: A New Musical, with a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Performances will take place at the Theatre at St. Jean's on New York's Upper East Side (150 East 76th St. at Lexington Ave), Nov. 4-12.

Broadway musical sensation The Addams Family is coming to the newly renovated California Theatre in Pittsburg, CA on November 4, 5, 6 and 18, 19, 20. Created by the award-winning team of Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice (Jersey Boys) and composer-lyricist Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party), The Addams Family is based on characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams.
