Brooklyn band Sky-Pony (fronted by Tony nominee Lauren Worsham of Broadway's A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) is known for shows that bridge the gap between rock and theater. At Joe's Pub tonight, January 19, they'll combine these interests with special show that includes a cavalcade of luminaries from the world of Broadway.

Tickets for the 2015 KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY will take place Friday, January 9th, 2015 to Thursday, January 15th, 2015, and is an annual event when kids ages 6 to 18 can see participating Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. A KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY ticket includes pre-theatre activities, restaurant discounts, parking discounts, educational programs, and more. JUDITH LIGHT a two-time Tony Award winner, will serve as the National Ambassador for the 19th KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY. This year KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY salutes Point Foundation, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit, an organization where Light remains a longtime board member.

Jeff Kready to Assume Role of 'Monty Navarro' in Broadway's 'GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE'; Bryce Pinkham to Return

The reigning Tony Award-winning Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, will welcome a new Monty Navarro when Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham takes a temporary leave of absence to co-star in the limited Broadway enagement of The Heidi Chronicles. Assuming the role of Monty beginning on Tuesday, January 20 will be original ensemble member and Monty understudy Jeff Kready, whose other Broadway credits include Billy Elliot: The Musical and the revivals of Sunday in the Park with George and Les Miserables.

The ASCAP Foundation Awards Ceremony was held at The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center and Broadwayworld was there. This years recipient of the Masters Award was composer John Corigliano. Mr. Corigliano has also won fiver Grammy's a Pulitzer Prize the Grawemeyer Award and an Academy Award for his many scores and compositions. Rupert Holmes, Composer, Playwright, lyricist, mystery novelist, arranger-conductor, screenwriter, record producer and singer-songwriter received the Foundations George M. Cohan Award which is made possible by the Friars Foundation.
