On Monday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Don't Tell Mama, several young past and present performers from Broadway joined forces in a benefit cabaret to raise money and show support for the victims, survivors and those suffering as a result of the mass shooting in Orlando this month. The benefit was entitled Broadway Kids for Orlando: All You Need is Love. One hundred percent of the proceeds are being donated to the GLBT Center of Central Florida, and all 49 victims of The Pulse Nightclub shooting were honored in the program. Magical Music for Life Foundation is thrilled to present its 5th annual TUNES IN TIMES SQUARE benefit concert Sunday, May 1, 2016 on Broadway between 42nd & 43rd Streets in Times Square. The goal of the concert is to raise financial support to produce a new original album of songs for water safety applicable to children with and without specials needs, awareness of our music, and funds to perform our musical written especially for children with autism and other special needs. The event will be a continuous sing-a-thon, where talented children and groups from six states will come together to share the same stage with over 70 Broadway performers from most of the current shows and many past shows. On April 27, at 7:00 p.m., a cabaret performance entitled Songs of Our Youth: Samantha Blaire Cutler and Sam Poon, will be performed at Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street, New York, NY. The show will feature Sam Poon ( The King and I, Macbeth, Billy Elliot, Les Miserables) and Samantha Blaire Cutler ( Billy Elliot, Orange is the New Black, Sisters). Special guests joining Sam and Sam will be friends from stage and television and the Professional Performing Arts School including: Jibreel Mawry ( Motown the Musical), Brionna Trilling ( Billy Elliot), Ella Watts ( The Sound of Music Live), Saoirse Dempsey and Katya Urban.

On Sunday, December 7th, for the 3rd year in a row, TV Personality and Host, Scott Nevins (Bravo TV's 'The People's Couch') delivered his yearly gift to NYC, with his all-star benefit 'Sparkle: An All-Star Holiday Concert' for The Actors Fund, to a packed house at 42West. SING FOR HOPE, an all-star concert to raise money for David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation, presented by the Foundation and Cara Samantha, is set for Sunday, October 5th 2014 from 2PM to 6PM at Toshi's Living Room at The Flat Iron Hotel, 1411 Broadway, New York, NY 10001 (at 26th Street). Paper Mill Playhouse continues its 75th Anniversary Season with the classic Charles Dickens musical Oliver!, with a holiday 'twist' for the entire family. With a book, music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, Oliver! is directed by Paper Mill Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Mark S. Hoebee with original choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter. Oliver! features David Garrison (Fagin), best known for his role as Steve Rhoades on the hit television series Married...with Children, Betsy Morgan (Nancy), John Treacy Egan (Mr. Bumble), Jose Llana (Bill Sikes), David Hess (MR. Brownlow), Ethan Haberfield (Artful Dodger) and introducing Tyler Moran as Oliver. Oliver! also features 16 local boys from across the state of New Jersey who auditioned from a pool of over 200. Oliver! plays the Millburn, New Jersey theater through December 29. The official press opening was last night, December 1, 2013, and BroadwayWorld was there for the festivities.
