Broadway Records announced the CD release of the world premiere recording of LITTLE BLACK BOOK, a concept album for the new rock musical about the life and times of Heidi Fleiss, starring Alice Ripley, Orfeh, Mandy Gonzalez, Jessica Vosk, Brittney Johnson, Diana DeGarmo, Vonzell Solomon, Kuhoo Verma, Samantha Pauly, Natalie Weiss & Lillias White.

Obie, Emmy, and Tony winner Lillias White and Marvel and DC television regular Danny Johnson (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Gotham) will lead two industry readings of Douglas Lyons's new family comedy Chicken and Biscuits. Directed by Zhailon Levingston, the full cast includes C. Kelly Wright, Inga Ballard (Ragtime Tour), Akira Golz (Matilda), Doug Goldring, Josh Adam Ramos, and Lauren F. Walker (Charm).

The Public Theater and the Onassis Foundation USA will begin free performances for a limited six-performance run of THE GOSPEL AT COLONUS on Tuesday, September 4.

The evening raised an incredible $480,287 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City. Actress and performer Carolyn Johnson returns to Stages Repertory Theatre to star as Judy Garland in drama musical END OF THE RAINBOW. The role requires Johnson do justice to Garland's greatest hits and misses. Johnson tells BroadwayWorld how she plans to fulfill her duty.
