Works & Process, the performing arts series at the Guggenheim, has announced the acceptance of a $500,000 grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, marking the most significant grant in the history of Works & Process.

Works & Process produced a 4-part docuseries Isolation to Creation, by filmmaker Nic Petry of Dancing Camera, to provide audiences with the rare opportunity to go into the bubbles and behind the scenes to experience the hope, joy, exhilarating physical struggle, and emotional challenges experienced by performers returning to the studio and stage.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced that its 2014 Spring Gala will honor Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff and President of The Dodgers Michael David. Both are founding partners of Dodger Properties, which is responsible for over 150 productions of some of the most successful theatre on Broadway (56 Tony Awards), Off-Broadway and internationally. The gala will take place on Monday, May 12 at The Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel, beginning at 6:30pm.

A special fundraiser was held at Lincoln Center on April 5th for The National Theatre of Great Britain. Sir Nicholas Hytner, Gala Chairs Sir Nigel and Lady Sheinwald, Sir Mark and Lady Lyall Grant hosted a celebration to announce the arrival of War Horse, one of the greatest successes from The National Theatre of Great Britain.
