Preparing to sprinkle fairy dust across America, NBC presents a bold new LIVE television production of the classic Broadway musical that will gather friends, families and anyone who refuses to ever grow up. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the special will star Allison Williams, Christopher Walken, Christian Borle, Kelli O'Hara, Taylor Louderman and Alanna Saunders for the live production.

THE NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL has announced the performers for their special opening night launch event "MEETING OUR HEROES: A Tribute to the Composers Who Inspire Us" at The Laurie Beechman Theater at The West Bank Cafe (407 West 42nd Street) on Monday, July 7 at 7:00 PM. Jeremiah Ginn (Murder for Two), Janet Krupin (If/Then, Bring It On: The Musical), Charlotte Maltby (Les Miserables at the Muny) and Bryce Ryness (Fly By Night, First Date, Hair), will help four emerging songwriters celebrate four of musical theater's most celebrated composers. An intimate, history-making night of songs and stories, this one-night-only concert opens NYMF with music from established and new writers alike and honors the individuals who have made an indelible mark on the musical theater community.

LANCE HORNE - the Emmy Award winning composer, musician, vocalist and producer - will headline a special concert evening at Rockwood Table & Stage in Los Angeles tonight, April 15 at 8:00 PM with guest artists Ricki Lake, Julie Garnye and Lisa Ann Walter, with special surprise stars. They will perform songs from his acclaimed CD First Things Last in addition to a special preview of The Night Before My Wedding, Horne's upcoming collaboration with Neil Gaiman.

LANCE HORNE - the Emmy Award winning composer, musician, vocalist and producer - will make his Birdland debut with a special concert on Monday, March 31 at 7:00 PM. Lea DeLaria, Joey Arias, Stephen Wallem and Michael Rose have joined the evening as special guests, in addition to the previously-announced Alan Cumming, Alice Ripley and Rachel Dratch. They will perform songs from his acclaimed CD First Things Last in addition to a special preview of The Night Before My Wedding, Horne's upcoming collaboration with Neil Gaiman. Lance will also headline a special concert at Rockwood LA on April 15 with guest stars to be announced and an additional event this spring in San Francisco. He has contributed a movement to Tyler's Suite, a choral song-cycle dedicated to Tyler Clementi, the 18-year-old Rutgers University student that took his life three years ago. The piece, which also includes contributions from Stephen Schwartz, Ann Hampton Callaway and Craig Carnelia, will premiere from the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus on March 25-26. STAGE KISS, by two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Sarah Ruhl, will also welcome Ken Marks to the cast for the final two weeks of its run.
