The Chicago premiere of GHOSTS OF WAR details a young soldier's tour of duty in Iraq following 9/11, based on Ryan Smithson's best-selling autobiographical novel, adapted for the stage by Artistic Director Bill Massolia (In To America) and directed by Jason Gerace (Great Expectations, Last Train to Nibroc). Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Griffin's LETTERS HOME puts the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq front and center by bringing to life actual letters written by soldiers serving in the Middle East. Written and directed by Bill Massolia, the critically acclaimed production returns home to Chicago after touring the U.S. for more than a decade. 

Redtwist Theatre presents Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan, and directed by Scott Weinstein, featuring Redtwist company member & Jeff Award-winner Brian Parry as Richard Nixon. The show opens Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 3pm (this is also the press opening) and runs Thu, Fri, Sat at 7:30pm; Sun at 3pm, through Sun, May 20.

Featuring former leading cast members of hit Broadway musicals including Jersey Boys, Under the Streetlamp is a concert celebration of classic hits of the American Radio Songbook from the 1950s-1970s. Their shows feature tight harmonies and slick dance moves that take audiences back to an era of sharkskin suits, flashy cars, and martini shakers. A flashback to a time when, on hot summer nights, people would gather under a streetlamp to sing their favorite rock and roll songs.

The spirit of the holiday season continues at The Granada Theatre on Saturday, December 9, 2017 with the joyous sounds of Under The Streetlamp: Hip to the Holidays. Featuring recent leading cast members of the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys, Under The Streetlamp invites you to sing along to holiday classics, Doo Wop hits, and Christmas songs from their live PBS Specials and studio album, Every Day's a Holiday.

Directed by Jeff Award winner Scott Weinstein, the show opened on September 28 to highly favorable reviews, with Chris Jones of Chicago Tribune calling it wise, complex, and really very moving. Funny, too, and Buzz Center Stage deeming the show funny and provocative.

Directed by Jeff Award winner Scott Weinstein, the show opened on September 28 to highly favorable reviews, with Chris Jones of Chicago Tribune calling it wise, complex, and really very moving. This summer's runaway hit is Steep Theatre's Lela & Co. This powerful U.S. premiere will run through September 16. Steep is adding eight new chances to hear Lela's passionately told story of resilience and hope in the face of overwhelming adversity, featuring Cruz Gonzalez-Cadel and Chris Chmelik, whose performances have been described as 'stunning,' 'fantastic,' and 'extraordinary empathetic.'
