From 31 May 2010 Genevieve Lemon will join the London cast of the multi-award winning Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre to play Billy's dance teacher Mrs Wilkinson. Lemon, a seasoned musicals performer in her native Australia, will make her West End debut as Mrs Wilkinson as the show enters into its sixth year in London.

Reprise Records has released a new Frank Sinatra-filled album with his songs featured in Twayla Tharp's musical Come Fly Away. The CD includes 16-tracks of the original Sinatra recordings with thr original musicians. These original arrangements were done by by Nelson Riddle, Billy May, Don Costa, Gordon Jenkins, Johnny Mandel, Neal Hefti, Torrie Zito, Sam Nestico, Emuir Deodato, Ernie Freeman and Quincy Jones.

COME FLY AWAY follows four couples as they fall in and out of love during one song and dance filled evening at a crowded nightclub. Blending the legendary vocals of Frank Sinatra with a live on stage 19-piece big band and 15 of the world's finest dancers, COME FLY AWAY weaves an unparalleled hit parade of classics, including 'Fly Me To The Moon,' 'My Way,' and 'That's Life' into a soaring musical fantasy of romance and seduction.

According to a report by Variety, the recent union dispute surrounding Broadway's Come Fly Away has caused American Guild of Musical Artists to try to play a bigger role in the Broadway community. Alan Gordon, AGMA exec director, expressed interest in representing dancers not ony in dance-heavy shows like Come Fly Away, but other productions as well. Gordon stated, 'We think that down the road it's better for dancers appearing in anything, including Broadway shows, to be represented by AGMA.'

Audience members attending Saturday's preview performance of Twyla Tharp's Come Fly Away, witnessed an extra treat when Deepjot Anand proposed to his longtime love, Erica Ravin, on stage following the curtain call. Anand chose to propose to Erica at Come Fly Away specifically, as 4 1/2 years ago they had their first official date at Twyla Tharp's Movin' Out. They are both graduate students at Stony Brook University on Long Island.
